FAST INFERENCE TECHNIQUE IN VISUAL PROLOG

The paper concerns to the problem of inference implementation in artificial intelligence systems based on the
product knowledge model. An approach that uses relational algebra operations in Visual Prolog programs instead
of classical reasoning is proposed. A set of Prolog predicates implementing necessary relational operations is
presented together with results of the performance measurement on a large scale knowledge base that confirm
the high speed of the rules processing.
