Abstract
The article deals with the problems devoted to skilled workers training for the Russian industry in the late XIX –
early XX centuries in the post-reform economy conditions. Empire Russian Technical Society paid much
attention to those problems and organized three meetings. The article is aimed for everyone interested in the
history of professional domestic education in Russia.
