FAST INFERENCE TECHNIQUE IN VISUAL PROLOG Bessmertny Igor Alexandrovich
50
The paper concerns to the problem of inference implementation in artificial intelligence systems based on the product knowledge model. An approach that uses relational algebra operations in Visual Prolog programs instead of classical reasoning is proposed. A set of Prolog predicates implementing necessary relational operations is presented together with results of the performance measurement on a large scale knowledge base that confirm the high speed of the rules processing.

The nonlinear system of differential equations describing movement of the weights center of the aircraft in a vertical plane at a rectilinear trajectory is researched. Estimations on speed and range values depending on restrictions on an engine draft control resource are received.

COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN SYSTEMS

METHOD OF GEOMETRIC SIMPLIFICATION OF 3D POLYGONAL OBJECTS Тозик В. Т., Alexander Mezhenin
81
The article deals with the method of geometric simplification of 3D polygonal object models for reducing the amount of data that leads to an increase in the rates of both transmission and visualization. The proposed simplification method of the three-dimensional polygonal objects uses edge collapse operations. Additional checks are aimed for eliminating the effect of a degenerate polygonal mesh. To assess the quality of polygonal network simplification the Hausdorff dimension is proposed to use.
86
Algorithm realizing finite difference method for computer-aided thermal analysis of printed circuit boards of transceiver modules with heat-generating thermostabilization items is considered. Comparative description of this method with well-known typical software is given.

INFORMATION SECURITY METHODS AND SYSTEMS

SOFTWARE COMPETITION MODEL Andrey Razumovskiy
92
Software security depends not only on its security mechanisms, but also on its competitive grade with other copies of software. Software has to survive in struggle for existence. We need a model of specific program progress under competition conditions with another kind of software.

ECONOMICS AND FINANCES. MANAGEMENT

96
For implementation of multi-agent system for information support of innovations the actor-based models which describe agent functioning in the virtual business environment have been developed. The models represent a formal specification of the system agents. The unified description of agent models and functioning algorithms for different innovation subjects’ types using multi-agent virtual business environment conceptual model has been proposed. Different modeling paradigms combining for agent actor-based models development have provided the unified description of agent interaction processes that simplifies the implementation of conceptual model processing procedures and gives the possibility to flexible agent configuration under constrains of the specific task.
102
Research results of economic nature of such concepts as «an intellectual potential» and «an intellectual capital» are submitted in the article. These categories are esteemed as the basis for formation innovative companies, with the purpose of increasing the economic efficiency and competitiveness of domestic firms.
107
Theoretical conceptions in the sphere of services are not developed in spite of their importance. But every enterprise should use the special conceptions to make its management more effective and to create the strategic plan of development. An attempt was undertaken to define such conceptual positions.

NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN EDUCATION

114
The article contains a classification of indexes of scientific output and analysis of the effectiveness index of scientific activity used in Russia to evaluate productivity of scholars. A list of criteria an effective index of scientific output should meet is proposed. It is demonstrated that this index has major flaw and should not be used for measurement of scientific output. New indexes are proposed. It is explained how these indexes can be used to calculate a professor’s salary.
