Abstract

The article deals with the possibility of molybdenum carbide formation in the impulse electric erosion discharge on the basis of Blumlein modified circuit. Obtained samples of the material were investigated by X-ray diffraction. Analysis of diffraction patterns showed that the film of carbides is formed on the molybdenum surface during the reaction with carbon by electric erosion discharge.
