Abstract

The approach to the description of substances thermodynamic functions by means of orthogonal representation is suggested. The corresponding method is developed and thermodynamic description of isobar heat capacities temperature dependence is constructed. Its higher efficiency is shown in comparison with traditional approaches - both from formal positions of the mathematical and thermodynamic description and from the point of view of received results reliability. The method for coordinated description of low- and high-temperature thermodynamic data is also suggested (for heat capacity, enthalpy, etc.). The combination of these approaches allows receiving the most authentic description of substances thermodynamic properties. The thermodynamic database for a wide range of substances, realized in a corresponding software-information complex, is constructed.
