Abstract

The article describes the possibilities and restrictions of reservation techniques for risk decrease of availability loss in critical information systems. Description of updates decomposition methodology is suggested for decreasing the risk of availability loss for critical information system during updates. The usage of
decomposition methodology together with reservation techniques is proved to decrease the risk of availability loss in critical systems during updates. Example, illustrating the efficiency of updates decomposition methodology, is given.
