Abstract

Dynamic visual acuity is an important visual capacity indicator of individuals connected with the perception of moving objects. According to the existing patent, a device working model that contains a rotating cylinder with a table of optotypes is created. Operation and calculations of the unit are carried out by the authors’ programs. The average value of dynamic visual acuity, measured for 42 patients is equal to 25 ms. Statistical analysis in MATLAB showed that the distribution of the experimental data corresponds to the Weibull distribution law with parameters: scale A=22.029 and form B=1.527. The statistical hypothesis is confirmed by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test.
